The players on the all-time cash list have all benefitted from staying power; unlike the all-time money list that is full of flash in the pan success stories, the players on the all-time cash list have been at the top of the poker food chain for years.

  1. Phil Hellmuth - 74

Hellmuth is the only player to appear on all three all-time lists -cashes, bracelets, and money-and holds the top spot in cashes and bracelets won.

Hellmuth is one of the more prolific poker players, and feels his place in history will be written in WSOP records and accomplishments.

  1. Men “The Master” Nguyen - 65

Men “The Master” makes his second WSOP all-time list with 65 cashes in WSOP events. Men is another player in the Phil Hellmuth mold of ‘enter as many tournaments as you can’.

Primarily known as a No Limit player, Men’s cashes have come in a variety of events including Stud, Razz, 2-7 Lowball, and Omaha.

  1. Chris Ferguson - 58

Chris “Jesus” Ferguson’s style of play can be summed in one word ‘analytical’, and it’s this style that has propelled him to #3 on the all-time cashes list. The 2000 WSOP Main Event Champion is probably best known for his cowboy get-up, and his ability to slice fruit and vegetables with playing cards.

Ferguson just missed making the top 10 on the all-time bracelet list -he has 5-and is 20th on the all-time money list with over $4 million in WSOP earnings.

T4. Berry Johnston - 57

Johnston is another one of poker’s anonymous superstars. He has somehow managed to avoid any exposure while racking up 57 WSOP cashes, 5 bracelets, and over $2 million in career earnings.

Johnston has been a WSOP staple since the early 80’s and continues to move up the all-time lists today -with 3 cashes in 2008, and another in the 2009 WSOP.

T4. Erik Seidel - 57

Seidel has been cashing in the WSOP since the late 1980’s and is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. The 8-time bracelet winner picked up five more cashes in the 2009 WSOP, including three final tables.

T6. Humberto Brenes - 55

Humberto’s table antics tend to outshine his poker skills at times: Players either laugh off his behavior, or are extremely annoyed by it. Humberto’s first taste of WSOP success came in the 1987 Main Event where he finished 14th. He followed his 14th place finish with a 4th place in the 1988 Main Event, and hasn’t looked back since.

Humberto has the fewest bracelets of any player on the all-time cash list with two.

T6. TJ Cloutier - 55

Cloutier is one of three players to have finished runner-up in the Main Event two times (Dewey Tomko and Crandall Addington are the others) but Cloutier has gone on to become one of the top tournament players of all time -his 55 cashes prove that fact.

The former Canadian Football League player has over $4 million in career WSOP earnings, and 6 bracelets to his credit.

  1. Chau Giang - 51

The cash game specialist Giang’s 51 cashes is made all the more impressive when you take into consideration he played a very limited tournament schedule for many years. Chau returned to tournament competition when the field sizes grew, and his potential earnings matched those of the high stakes cash games he frequents.

Giang added 5 cashes to his total at the 2009 WSOP.

  1. John Juanda - 49

Juanda is the youngest player on the list, which speaks volumes to the success he has had at the WSOP. Still in his 30’s Juanda has a very good chance of ending his career atop the all-time cashes list.

In the past two WSOP Juanda has amassed 10 cashes (6 in 2008, and 4 in 2009).

  1. David Chiu - 48

With 6 cashes at the 2009 WSOP Chiu was able to vault into the #10 spot on the list. Chiu had some early success at the WSOP in the 80’s before concentrating on cash games; basically didn’t play a WSOP event for a decade! And he is still #10 on the all-time list.

Since his return to full-time tournament poker, Chiu has amassed 42 WSOP cashes in 13 years, and is showing no signs of slowing down.
