The Record Breaking Win of Brian Hastings

Poker player Brian Hastings will be taking his Economics final on Monday - the last subject exam for the semester. Though he might certainly study slightly this weekend, he will definitely find a moment to rejoice after carrying out one of the most astonishing heads-up sessions the Online Poker world has ever seen.

He made some time to converse with Card Player TV’s Kristy Arnett for the freshest edition of Poker Buzz despite his busy schedule between college and Full Tilt Poker. Brian discusses the groundwork he did in order to face Isildur1, the reasons why he won a lot and his evaluation on the actions of his opponent’s other table rivals.

He confesses that, during his head to head with Isildur1 in six tables of $500-$1,000 pot-limit Omaha on Tuesday night, he was not playing for all of his action in the $4.2 million triumph. Brian Hastings is always hesitant to play on high stakes game in the net however he tried to try his luck and skill in the new high stakes beasts after his friends Cole South and Brian Townsend battled against Isildur1. He said, “I was very comfortably rolled for that.”

He glorified Townsend and South for assisting him to hone his skills and figure the attacks he will make in his battle with the anonymous Swedish pro. He also praises Isildur1’s skills at the poker table. Hastings also admitted that his win was due too the tired and tilted situation of his opponent and of course with the luck he has with his cards. He’s not also ashamed to admit that he’s quite please with the way he played.

Brian commented about the start of the mythical 5 hour match, “I came in fresh and he had already been playing for about nine hours.” “Right off the bat, I just started running really hot.”
